Comedist is an online ecosystem for those who make the world a better place through laughter. We provide the means for creating portfolios and professional blogs, managing social media accounts, finding open mics, distributing video content, getting casting calls and other actionable information. We also provide a user-friendly, secure platform for creating, promoting, and selling tickets to events
Meet our team
Chris decided early on that she was going to be a famous writer. But then she peaked at age 9 by writing the P.S. 114 Columbus Day play, a musical. Now she consoles herself by interviewing soldiers and storytellers, and singing.
Founder & CEO
Eddie writes stuff like poems and comedic plays and works math problems out in his head. He enjoys photography, chess, and growing plants from seed. He was kidding about the math thing.
Manager of External Relations
Robert is an incredibly handsome professional comedian and creative project consultant based in New York. He began working top standup clubs at 18 while studying politics, philosophy and economics. So he’s hardworking and smart. What matters though is that he’s beautiful.
Director of Video & Film Production
Rebecca is a visual storyteller with emphases on still photography and video. She dares anyone to make her laugh. She’s a tough critic, but once it starts, her laughter is infectious.
Wendy A. Reynolds
Director of Social Media
A self-professed cat lady without a cat, Wendy’s goal is to buy a cottage in the Cotswolds, open a tea shop, and become the resident Miss Marple solving murders. She hasn’t found an English village with a high enough body count yet, so she and her family currently live in Winter Park, Florida.
Director of Corporate Communications
Diane loves words, their origins and the relationships between languages. She’s consumed by sustainability issues, politics, writing herstory, and discovering what lies hidden underneath in her downtime. She’s addicted to puzzles — words, numbers, jigsaws and mysteries.
Chief Digital Officer
Eleanor loves storytelling—anything from trying to figure out old sayings (especially Korean ones that her mother expects her to understand) to digital endeavors. She’s the straight (wo)man of this Comedist team. While her team partners seem to either ham it up on stage or enjoy lounging around coming up with new sketches, she’s trying to balance the lifestyle of leaving the city and living in the woods avoiding bears.
